What We Offer
Understanding without obligation.
That is the difference.
What you learn at Lotus Advisory stays with you. There is no follow-up sales call, no product recommendation, no pressure to act.
Back to HomeSix things that shape every programme we run
No product commissions
Our facilitators are paid only by participant fees. No third party compensates us for anything we say or suggest.
Groups capped at eight
Small enough for real conversation. Your questions get heard; generic seminars have no room for them.
Thai-context materials
Provident funds, gold savings, family financial obligations — our worksheets and readings address these directly.
Physical materials to keep
A bound reading volume, a completed worksheet, a printed glossary. The learning does not vanish when the session ends.
Discussion over lecture
Facilitators surface questions worth carrying home. Participants work through ideas together rather than receiving a presentation.
Designed for working adults
Weekend workshops and evening reading circles that respect professional and family schedules.
People who know the subject and know how to teach it
Financial knowledge and teaching ability are distinct skills. Our lead facilitator spent fifteen years in Bangkok banking before transitioning to financial education. Our programme educator is a retired Chulalongkorn University economics lecturer. Between them, they bring both deep technical knowledge of the Thai financial system and long experience helping adults learn complex material at their own pace.
- Combined professional experience exceeding thirty years in Thai finance and economics
- Facilitators who read widely and update their knowledge continuously
- No gap between what is taught and what is actually relevant in the Thai market
What expertise means in practice
A facilitator who genuinely understands annuity structures can tell you why a specific product's terms matter. A former banker who has worked with household balance sheets can spot what you have probably forgotten to include. Expertise is not a credential on the wall — it shows up in the quality of the questions a facilitator asks.
A considered, unhurried approach
Each participant receives the facilitator's attention. Questions that feel too basic are treated seriously. Questions that go beyond the programme's scope are acknowledged honestly rather than deflected into a product recommendation. This is what thoughtful service looks like in an educational context.
Attentive to what each person actually needs
We keep groups small precisely because generic financial education fails most people. The couple who need to discuss retirement savings differently from the single professional. The participant approaching 60 has different questions from the one at 42. Small groups allow the facilitator to respond to where participants actually are rather than where a slide deck assumes they are.
- Pre-programme conversation to understand your starting point
- Facilitators who adapt the session to the group present
- Follow-up questions welcomed after the programme ends
Transparent pricing with nothing hidden
Programme fees are the only income Lotus Advisory receives from participants. There is no upsell to a follow-on product, no referral arrangement with a financial firm, no hidden connection between what we teach and what we might benefit from you purchasing. The fee pays for the facilitator's time, the printed materials, and the use of our Phra Athit Road space.
- Reading Circle: 5,500 THB for four weekly sessions
- Balance Sheet Workshop: 8,400 THB for one full day
- Annuities Programme: 10,800 THB for three sessions
- All printed materials included in every fee
What the fee covers
Expert facilitation, curated or original written materials, a thoughtful venue in central Bangkok, and the time and attention of people who have genuinely studied the subject. For most participants, the clarity gained in a single programme is worth the fee many times over in the financial decisions it informs.

Three things you will not find elsewhere
The bound reading volume
Reading circle participants receive a bound collection of the season's curated texts at the first meeting — not a link to a PDF, not a slide deck, but a physical volume to annotate and return to. This is an uncommon practice in financial education. We believe it reflects the seriousness with which we approach the subject.
The Thai household worksheet
Our Balance Sheet Workshop is built around a printed worksheet developed specifically for the Thai household context — with prompts for gold holdings, provident fund balances, cremation savings, and family loans. No other financial education provider in Bangkok offers this level of local specificity.
The product-free annuities programme
Education on annuity and lifetime income structures is almost always delivered by parties with a financial interest in selling those products. Lotus Advisory's programme explains the mechanics and trade-offs without recommending any product — a distinction that is, to our knowledge, genuinely rare in Thailand.
